Day 7
Where Are Today
Yuma lakes RV Resort
Yuma, Arizona
Up early and after a shower we were on the road by 8:00 a.m. getting onto I-10 West easily and heading for Eloy Az. Here we were meeting our long time good friends Ken and Nancy. They reside in a mobile home park at Picacho, about 12 miles away. It is always great to catch up on our way down and on the way home.
After lunch we crossed the road to the Blue Beacon truck wash and had the truck and trailer washed, boy were they dirty. It took about an hour as we were third in line, but well worth it and cheaper then getting it done by the guys that go around and do RVs.
From there we were back on I-10 for a short distance before exiting onto I-8 to bring us to our destination at Yuma Lakes. Since leaving home we have travelled 2716.6 miles. over 7 days, which averages out to 388 miles per day. I will do a break down of the fuel costs in the next few days.
Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to check out Pats blog HERE for a detailed story of our day.
Great trip!!!! Glad you made it safely.
