Our 5th wheel trailer is 2010 35 ft Designer by Jayco. This is our 3rd 5th wheel which we bought in August of 2013. It has 3 slide outs, electric fireplace, ceiling fan, central vac and a king size bed to name a few of the things that attracted us to it. It will be our home in two years when we retire. We are trying all different scenarios to make use of every nick and cranny.
Every once and a while we hook our 10 ft. cargo trailer behind the 5th wheel to go off to an RC flying event. This gives us a total length of 69 ft. which in Ontario we can go up to 75 ft. We get a lot of looks as people pass by. The cargo trailer pulls easy behind the 5th wheel, you don't even know it's there. The only time you can see it is when you turn a corner.
Since this was posted, we have upgraded again. You know that old saying, "when opportunity presents its self" , while opportunity did and we went for it. In January of 2015, we purchased a new 2015 Mobile Suite. To us , Mobile Suites are the "Bently" of 5th wheel trailers. The way they are built is far better then any other. I could go on and on about it but won't bore you with details. This trailer has all the features of our last trailer and then some. We are very happy with our purchase and new home for our retirement in 2016.
