Up early and on the road at 8:00 a.m. this morning with an easy drive through Odessa to get back on I-20 west.

The roads were all good today with some up and down sections which didn't help with the fuel mileage, but we expect that. Fuel stops and restroom breaks only took a few minutes of our time on the road.

Our day was almost uneventful until we neared our destination. Both our GPS's had us turn before we should have, looking for a spot to turn around, I pulled into a large gravel lot. As I swung to get back on the road, I want thru a soft spot and the rear tires sunk  just enough to sit there and spin. Through the kind neighbors we got pulled back on the road. We found out that they have had so much rain that it hadn't dried up yet. We were on our way in about 20 minutes, travelling the last mile to here.
