The Same Place as My Last Post
This afternoon the clouds were
starting to break so it was time for a couple of boys to get out their toys for
a little play. Lorne Green from " A Place Called Away", click Here to
find his blog, has a quad copter also. The two of us got them out to have a
little fun and take some pictures. The following is the result. Most of the shots were taken from 400 feet up.

That's it, short and sweet, until the
next time, take care and be safe. Comments welcome.
The drones look like a lot of fun. ...especially for photography! What ya cookin' for supper tonight? Haha MB
ReplyDeleteYes the drones are neat and for supper we had steak and salad.
DeleteDualling drones looks like a fun time. the bug stone snake is south west of you guys just over a low ridge.
ReplyDeleteYes fun indeed especially when there is two of us. Will look for the snake before we leave here.
DeleteBill,
ReplyDeleteWould it be possible to let the Quad do the legwork to save on perhaps some wasted time? Couldn't you use it as your personal scout when you're in the approximate area, as long as the batteries last?
Just say'in,
Jim
You are probably right, I just don't like letting it get to far away from me in case something goes wrong
ReplyDeleteBut if you're out searching for the stone snake anyway then perhaps it could save you a lot of steps? (I didn't mean from your campsite).
ReplyDeleteAfter all the years going to Borrego Springs it's nice to see a different perspective of the Clark dry Lake Bed area. Good stuff.
ReplyDeleteThanks Al, we really enjoyed this spot and area, will return to visit it again.
